Configuration
Once you have finished installing, you will have the option to choose various settings for configuring the PA5G
application.
Configuring PA5G
- The Configuration Tool will open on the Subscriber Site screen. Select the drop-down arrow beside Available Subscribers. Select the subscriber site to configure. Select "Next>>."
- The Application User screen will open. Type the name of the domain beside "Domain." Type your user name beside "User Name," and your password in the "Password" field. Select "Next>>."
- The Database Configuration screen will open. Use the drop-down arrow beside "Server Name" to choose a server that contains your preferred database. "Authentication" allows the option of authenticating users through Windows or SQL. Windows is the default choice.
- Select your authentication method and type your username and password in the given fields.
- Select a database by using the drop-down by "Database." The list should be prepopulated based on your server choice. If you would like to create a new database, select "Create," and type a new name in the field.
- Test the server/database connection by selecting "Test Connection."
- Go to the Reports tab by clicking on the far right icon.
- Select SQL Server instance which has SSRS installed, then select the reporting services in the second dropdown on the third one - select the url and click'Deploy' button to deploy PA5G Reports.
- Once the connection is successful, save your information. You are ready to use PA5G.
